Order Book Loading The current order book loading level as of 21 November 2008 is 7.9 days. This is a live statistic generated by the AESSEAL business system. What does this mean to AESSEAL customers? If it’s Standard, we have it. If it’s Special we’ll engineer it – and quickly! The figure above represents the current level of orders outstanding on the AESSEAL plc order book. Generally speaking, if an order is placed with the company today for a standard product the maximum amount of time taken to ship the order will be the figure quoted above. However, as can be seen by our ongoing statistics below, in the majority of cases it takes far less time than this. Whether your requirement is for a Standard Product or a custom engineered Special, AESSEAL® delivers an award winning level of service and response for both requirements. Volume based inventoried modular components are held in readiness to facilitate each option. This is bolstered by a separate and dedicated manufacturing location geared to deliver rapid lead-times for urgent orders as well as engineered specials, in addition to larger batch-based manufacturing facilitates. The result speaks volumes: Approximately one third of the value of the AESSEAL® order book consists of engineered Special seals. The remaining two thirds are Standard products which are despatched the same day the order was received!
