SCA Service Contract Agreement |
On 18th of February 2008, Günther Kainz, Karl-Heinz Arnold (Purchasing Manager SCA) and Winfried Weickgenannt (AESSEAL Deutschland GmbH) signed a Service Contract, including a consignment stock agreement, for Mechanical Seals (Preferred Seal Supplier for Mechanical Seals, Bearing Protection, Systems and Packing).

SCA produce paper products including toilet and tissue papers, kitchen roll and all sorts of household paper products, covering the full process starting with the tree! SCA are number 1 in Europe for the supply of own label products and number 3 for branded products. Some 2100 employees in Mannheim produce 50,000,000 sheets of tissue paper, 2,000,000 rolls of toilet paper and 1,300,000 rolls of household paper (kitchen roll) on a daily basis.

According to Günther Kainz, the contract with SCA Hygiene Manheim ( AESSEAL Deutschland GmbH’s second biggest customer) was awarded because of their, and specifically Christian Selbig’s, excellent work in the seal sector. It was confirmed that „The competition are not happy.“ The Purchasing department reaffirmed again that AESSEAL does not just supply products but also solutions to improve the overall performance. Regular meetings where Case Histories are created are an intrinsic requirement. The Purchasing Department will publicise the contract within the whole Hygiene Products Group in Germany. It was agreed that AESSEAL can use this Supply Contract for marketing purposes throughout the group. AESSEAL Deutschland GmbH will receive a list with contacts for other SCA factories to facilitate the AESSEAL group as a whole to develop this important customer.
